INTERNSHIPS
The Mid America League Internship Program operates year-round and offers internships (i) for the full
calendar year (ii) by semester and (iii) during the summer. The Mid America League season (32 home
games) begins the last week in May and concludes the regular season the first week of August. We
are currently looking for individuals interested in sports management as a career to join our team.
Here's what you can expect from us:
Experience in the sports industry
Experience in day-to-day operations running a summer league baseball team
Intern roles will include specific experience in the following areas:
o Ticket Sales
o Corporate Partnerships
o Social Media
o Marketing/Public Relations
o Gameday Operations

Desire to learn and grow
Willingness to be challenged and step outside of your comfort zone
Energetic and excitement about bringing baseball to the MAL franchises listed above
A minimum of 16 hours per week
Role Description:
Assist with identifying sales opportunities (Season Tickets, Group Tickets, Sponsorships,
etc.) through prospecting and outreach
Assist in the sales process and relationship management through partner calls, emails and
external meetings
Assist with the year-long cultivation and maintenance of corporate partners and preparing
proof-of-performance documentation
Research industry trends and analyze best practices from other sports organizations
Assist with the creation and maintenance of the team’s social media platforms
Assist with the marketing and public relations of the baseball club
Assist with the grassroots integration of the baseball
Assist with developing creative gameday promotions, including in-game activations and
on-field promotions
Assist with creating an impressionable experience for all fans attending games with a
priority in customer service
Other duties, as assigned
Intern positions are NOT hourly or salaried positions. Interns will be given consideration based on
performance for future paid positions with the baseball club without regard to race, color, religion,
